Please join the Family Research Council on Wednesday, July 30th at 12:00 pm for our forum, "Common Core: Uncommon Dilemma," in which we'll be hosting some of the finest minds in the American education arena as they discuss their concerns about this ongoing federal program and its impact on signatory states. Will Estrada from the Home School Legal Defense Association will be addressing grassroots efforts to defeat the Common Core initiative. Emmett McGroarty of the American Principles Project will be addressing Constitutional and data mining concerns. Dr. Sandra Stotsky, professor emeritus of the University of Arkansas, and former member of the Common Core validation committee will be addressing both the academic inadequacies of the standards, and options for better standard development.

Panelists:

Emmett McGroarty, Education Director at American Principles Project

Sandra Stotsky, Professor of Education Emerita at the University of Arkansas

William Estrada, Director of Federal Relations for Home School Legal Defense Association

Moderator: Sarah Perry, Common Core Coalition Manager for Family Research Council
